Alterac Valley - Not Alliance at it's best 1/11/10

The Alliance is still having a hard time in Alterac Valley. I am not sure what the problem is but it seems like all the players are just really inexperienced. I am not sure where they are all coming from. Are they all hitting 80 at the same time because a new expansion is coming out? Did a lot of kids get new level 80's off eBay for Christmas? If so why are they all doing AV?

I fought in 16 battles on Gomorra, 8 wins and 8 losses. You might think 50% is not too bad, but this is a battleground we were dominating in up until the end of last year, less than a month ago. At that point we were winning 80% of the battles. Now I am lucky to have a day where I hit 50%.

The main problem we had in all our losses were people not listening, which causes no teamwork. In the last battle I was in, before I decided I was wasting my time, the entire battle that was fought by the Alliance was fought in the Field of Strife, that is in the middle of the battleground. There are no objectives there. There is nothing to fight for there. Needless to say we lost that one. We had one or two people trying to cap towers but when you are holding SHGY, and we were for some reason, you need 8-10 people in a tower to cap it. Evidently 8-10 is too big a number for most these people to grasp. You try to give advice and you get people commenting with things like "WHAAAA" and "QQ". These are the idiots that won't learn, can't learn, and cost us battle after battle.

We did have some wins though, they were scattered through the losses. In those we had a couple maximum honor games, those are the ones where you have all 4 towers capped, Galv dead and still hold most if not all your towers. Another thing people don't seem to understand is you get honor for each of your towers you still hold at the end of the battle, win or lose. We had a couple where we killed Drek with a couple towers still up, usually east and west Frostwolf towers as the Alliance WILL NOT guard those. They will start them capping then jump down and stand on noob hill. One Horde player will sneak in and cap them back, they do it every time. People do not learn from this mistake. People don't seem to learn from any of their mistakes in there in this battlegroup, that is one of the reasons we are doing so badly I think.
