Alterac Valley - The Holiday's Over 1/4/10

The holiday weekend is finally over in Alterac Valley, not that the Alliance is doing much better. I fought in 2 Battles on Wranngar, both losses, and 12 battles on Gomorra, 5 wins and 7 losses.

The Alliance still doesn't seem to have it together. For the most part the people seem more interested in whining than winning. The bickering never stops. Gomorra is not well geared yet, that is why he is in there, and he is having a hard time against the geared Horde. He does a lot better in situations where he can stand back behind the melee DPS and cast spells without having to come into physical contact with other players, he wears cloth. Unfortunately with all the AFK that is harder to do than it should be. The AFK problem is worse than I have ever seen it and if Blizzard says they are doing something about it, and they do, they are lying.

All in all though, Gomorra is wracking up the kills and getting honor. I could buy one piece of gear with the honor I currently have but I am holding out for a more expensive piece which I should be able to get tomorrow. All told I am going to need about 300,000 honor to gear him. If we keep losing in AV that could take awhile. I am hoping it will get better, back to the way it was. The battles starting off so unbalanced aren't helping either, we had one that started off 13 Allaince versus 40 Horde. That had us outnumbered 4 to 1... Another Blizzard fail. We are lucky if we have 25 to the Hordes 40 when we start.

The 2 battles Wranngar was in were no better. The battles started off very unbalanced and the people were pretty inexperienced. There is one person in there, Opie, who cries through every battle. He keeps telling everyone to go to WoWHead and learn how to fight in AV. I am all for people going to the forums and any other place where they can learn how to fight better but this persons plan he spams throughout the battle, when he is not crying, is to take every graveyard between our base the Frostwolf Keep. What happens then? All the Horde are rezzing at the relief hut in FWK and we can't get in there. I checked him out in the Armory and he has less than 1,500 HK's and is wearing blues and greens, he is less geared than Gomorra. Not someone who I would listen to when it comes to battleground strategies. Evidently he learned everything he knows about AV from WoWHead and has no real experience. Real experience is the only thing that is going to help you in AV, reading about it is Ok to give you an idea, but being there and doing it is the only way you are really going to learn.

Alterac Valley - Still Holiday Weekend 1/3/10

It's still the holiday weekend in Alterac Valley and the Alliance is still doing as poorly as they usually do in a battleground on it's holiday weekend. I fought in 11 battles on Wranngar, 4 wins and 7 losses. I also fought in 6 battles on Gomorra, 2 wins and 4 losses.

It has been quite awhile since I have been in a battleground on Gomorra. I respec'd to Affliction before I started doing battlegrounds on him again. I have never tried Affliction and am not sure if I like it. It is supposed to be the best PvP spec though. Gomorra got a few achievements in his first few battles, That Takes Class, The Grim Reaper and 25000 Honorable Kills. He only had 128 kills to go to get the last one, I knew he would be getting that, the others were a surprise. Of course Wranngar got those quite awhile ago, he fights in AV a lot.

The main problem we were having today was inexperience, followed closely by AFK and people not working together. We had one battle where it looked like it was going pretty good, we had IBT and TP capping, we had SFGY and IBGY and the East and West Towers capping in Frostwolf Keep along with the Relief Hut. All of a sudden the Horde came pouring into FWK and just overran us. They took the towers, the RH and wiped us out. The reason for that was someone taking SHGY, the only forward GY the Horde had. That caused them all to rez at FWGY, right outside the keep. People need to look at the map and think, what will happen if I cap this? Where will the Horde rez? Will this wipe us? And then act accordingly. Unfortunately they don't and it causes a lot of wipes.

We got all our wins today by killing Drek. The Horde got most, not all but most, of theirs on reinforcements. The way the battleground is set up most prolonged battles are in the Hordes favor on reinforcements. They can easily get to two of their objectives while manning a choke point that keeps us from getting to any of ours.

Unlike Wranngar, Gomorra does need honor for gear, he is very poorly geared at this point. He currently has about half the honor he needs for one piece of gear. He is going to have to do a lot of battlegrounds to get geared, but then again so did Wranngar. It is time for Wranngar to move on to arena.

Alterac Valley - Holiday Weekend 1/2/10

I fought in 8 battles for Alterac Valley on Wranngar tonight, 2 wins and 6 losses. It was what I have come to expect from a battleground on it's holiday weekend. We had a good day yesterday but that is the exception on a holiday weekend.

We had a lot of inexperienced players and a lot of AFK in all the battles I was in. Holiday weekend in a battleground brings out all the weekend warriors, people who only fight in battlegrounds on their holiday weekend. They have no real experience and are usually very poorly geared. It also attracts a lot of AFK who are after the double honor. The AFK problem is so bad you get someone kicked for being AFK and they are replaced by someone who is AFK. It is a never ending battle...

In the 2 battles we won, we won one of them on reinforcements and one by killing Drek. That was the first battle I was in, I thought we were having a good day by the way that one went, boy was I wrong. We capped all 4 towers and killed Drek. It went pretty smooth and everyone worked together as much as the Alliance can. In the other win the Horde turtled and we just fought it out. We managed to get IBT and TP capped as well as IBGY. We killed Galv right at the start even though they were waiting for us in there. We just ran in and slaughtered them. We managed to hang onto all our towers but didn't have all their towers so it was not Stormpike Perfection, I think they killed Balinda too.

The other 6 battles I was in were just sad. The Horde just ran over us. I got a bunch of kills out of them at least so it wasn't all for nothing. In most the losses we ended up turtling in Dun Baldar until the Horde ran out the reinforcements. It really sucks that the holiday weekend started right after that stupid Gnome achievement ended, it has been a rough couple weeks for the Alliance in AV.

Daily Battleground - Isle of Conquest 1/2/10

Today Wranngar's daily battleground was Isle of Conquest. We won the first one I was in.

We had a pretty good group even if we did get off to a rough start. There are objectives that you want to capture in there to give you resources you will need to win. The Docks are one of those. When you have the docks you get the Glaive Throwers which are useful in taking down the gates at the keep as well as launching people over the wall and into the keep. The refinery, quarry and hangar are others that you will want to try to capture. Holding the refinery and quarry grant more siege equipment damage and holding the hangar allows you to board the airship and fire down on the Horde's keep as well as the Horde in various areas.

Well, we got the quarry and hangar but didn't get the docks or refinery. We did get the workshop, which makes siege equipment, after a drawn out battle so we weren't really in bad shape. We used the siege equipment from the workshop to batter the gates on the Horde keep down and get us inside. Once inside we had to kill the Horde's General. That was easier said than done because by this time the Horde were in our keep as well and most of our team were defending. The Horde were also defending their General so we had that to deal with too. Eventually we did beat him down for the win though.

The daily battleground gets you 19g86s, 1241 bonus honor and 25 arena points.

The Battle for Alterac Valley 1/1/10

I fought in 18 battles for Alterac Valley tonight on Wranngar, 10 wins and 8 losses. The Alliance is doing surprisingly well in AV for a holiday weekend. Usually a holiday weekend is the worst time to fight in a battleground, it brings out the weekend warriors, people who only fight in battlegrounds on the holiday weekend and are pretty inexperienced, and twice the AFK as they like the double honor too.

We won most of our battles by killing Drek although we did win a couple on reinforcements. For the most part we had good teamwork which is amazing on a holiday weekend, you usually can't get teamwork when it's not the holiday weekend let along on a holiday weekend. I guess the Horde had their share of weekend warriors too.

In a few of the battles I was in there was a Deathknight that said he could tank Drek with all adds up. That means Drek at 200% health, 4 Warmasters and 2 Forstwolves. The simple fact of the matter was, he couldn't hold aggro on everything. The adds (Warmasters) were breaking away and killing the healers. We tried that 4 times and it just didn't work. It takes a lot to hold aggro on everything, especially when your health is dropping so fast the healers can't just hit you with HoT's (Heal over Time) and have to throw some full heals on you. Full heals generate a lot of threat and will pull an add off the tank almost every time.

There were some people in there that said they had been in 5 or 6 losses in a row. I guess they were just hitting bad groups. Usually when I hit a bad streak like that I will wait a few minutes before I queue again in hopes of getting away from that bad group and into a better one. If you queue as soon as you leave the battleground you will usually end up with most of the same people again. If you have been losing and in bad groups, queuing again right away is a bad idea. On the other hand when you have been in a good group you want to queue again immediately when you get out.

Alterac Valley - Holiday Weekend 12/31/09

It's holiday weekend (Call to Arms) in Alterac Valley. I fought in 7 battles on Wranngar, 1 win and 6 losses.

A holiday weekend is the worst time to fight in a battleground if you want to win. Fortunately I don't need to win, I am capped on marks in AV and I am also capped on honor. So why was I there? For the kills. If nothing else, you can get a lot of kills on a holiday weekend in AV because almost every battle ends up in a turtle. Today was no exception. Out of the 7 battles I was in there was only one group that could be called decent. Actually that group was pretty good. That was the first battle I was in, the one we won.

Holiday weekend brings out all the weekend warriors and double the AFK. You get double honor for fighting in a battleground on it's holiday weekend. Weekend warriors are people who only fight in battlegrounds on their holiday weekend. You can spot them a mile away, they have the oldest PvP gear because they can't get enough honor fast enough to upgrade as it changes. They usually have a lot of blue gear and no skill too. They might as well be AFK for all the good they do.

The battle we won was the exception and I thought it was going to be like the last time I fought in AV on it's holiday weekend. We actually had good groups all weekend and won a lot of battles. That is the rare, rare, exception. Usually it is like today, undergeared people who have no clue what they are doing. I don't know how it can work out to their advantage losing every battle on the holiday weekend, seems to me you would get more honor fighting in winning battles on a regular day.

Anyway we won one battle by capping 3 towers and killing Drek and lost 6 battles by turtling. Even when the Horde don't kill Vann in battles like those the weekend warriors are so undergeared that they Horde are just raping them. You can watch the reinforcements clicking down like a countdown timer. You lose 1 reinforcement every time someone gets killed.

Usually I will just stealth past the Horde and cap towers or graveyards but there is no sense in it on the holiday weekend, we were not going to advance. The Horde know what they are up against too, they wait at Galv and just slaughter the weekend warriors when they show up. You can't tell them otherwise either, you tell them it is a trap and they still run right in there, just like sheep running to a pack of wolves.

I did get a few hundred kills out of it though so it wasn't all for nothing. I might fight in there some more this weekend for the kills, I won't expect to win that's for sure. Another thing weekend warriors are good for is crying when the battle runs over 15 minutes, they start saying just let the Horde cap everything so they can get their mark. I say screw their mark, I have never given the Horde anything and I never will. They should have been around when there were no reinforcements and the battles could run for days. The only way it ended then was when one sides General was killed.

Daily Battleground - Arathi Basin 12/31/09

Today Wranngar's daily battleground was Arathi Basin. I wasn't too excited about this one as the Alliance has been doing poorly in all the ones I have fought in lately but we won the first one I was in. That was the only one I fought in because, although we won, the play didn't inspire confidence.

I got in before the battle started and we started 15 to 15 for a change. When the gate opened I headed right to the Lumber Mill and helped cap that. It wasn't too hard as the 4 Horde who got there at the same time we did turned around and ran. That was when things started to go downhill. I was heading to the Blacksmith when I noticed everyone leaving the Lumber Mill. That is not unusual for the Alliance, they don't seem to know the meaning of defense. I went back to the Lumber Mill so there would at least be someone there to call incoming, not that I expected anyone to come. I usually go straight to a node, help capture it, then guard it. Today I figured I would try something different and go on offense but then I remembered why I always stay to guard, someone has to do it.

It was the same story at the Blacksmith, as soon as they got the flag started everyone left. I pointed that out but no one went back so the single Horde that rode in there had no problem capping it, everyone was at the Farm. Everyone being at the Farm caused us to lose the Stables. Finally the raid leader said something and people smartened up a little, they were leaving at least one person to defend.

Meanwhile I could see 4 Horde coming to the Lumber Mill, on tracking, so I called incoming. No one came... We lost the Lumber Mill but managed to pick up the Gold Mine and then the Stables again. We got the Blacksmith back and I said to just guard those, it only takes 3 to win but, as usual, everyone wanted a 5 cap, I guess, so they wandered off to other nodes and we lost the stables again.

I was at the Blacksmith defending at this point and I stayed there until towards the end when we lost that too. At that point we were far enough ahead and had the Gold Mine, Farm and Stables that it didn't matter, we won. I was really surprised we won with that group but looking back, it was no worse then any other group, none of them know how to defend and it is just going for one node after another losing one after another.

I turned this in when I got out and collected my 19g86s, 1241 bonus honor and 25 arena points. I say I collected my 1241 bonus honor but that's not really true, I would have gotten it if I wasn't capped on honor.

Daily Battleground - Alterac Valley 12/30/09

I fought in Alterac Valley on Wranngar today and the Alliance started off doing pretty well.

AV was my daily battleground today and we won the first one I was in. We won that one by 2 reinforcements. That is the closest battle in AV I have ever been in. It was close and touch and go right to the end. We also lost a battle by 3 reinforcements. We were ahead on that one but the Alliance have a way of screwing up. That should have been the sign that the quality of the group had changed but I fought in a few more anyway.

I fought in a total of 9 battles, 4 wins and 5 losses. We won the first 3 battles I was in, then lost a couple and won another one. Then we had 3 losses in a row and I decided to call it a day. Remember how I said the quality of players is different at different times of the day? Well, the quality of players went downhill and it was time to get out.

We did kill Drek 3 times with anywhere from 0 to 2 towers up. The Horde got most of their wins by killing Vann with most of their towers up. They didn't get to pull off a Blitz today but they came close once. We had a couple where they were waiting at Galv. Even when there are 20 Horde standing outside Galv in plain site the Alliance will blindly run right up there and get slaughtered. That really sets us back as they all rez in DB, way back at the start.

I only saw a few people doing the Gnome achievement but that will be over in a couple days thankfully. They can go back to PvE which they are hopefully better at than PvP.

I turned in my battleground daily for 19g86s, 1241 bonus honor and 25 arena points. I am starting to build up arena points but will probably save them until season 5 rolls out.

The Battle for Alterac Valley - 12/29/09

I know I said I wasn't going to fight in Alterac Valley again until after the new year but I was really bored leveling my Hunter and decided to see how things were going in there. I fought in 4 battles on Wranngar and from what I saw we are doing better. We had 2 wins and 2 losses.

The first battle I was in we won with maximum honor. The Horde had SHB and IWB capping but not capped. We kept taking them back from them. They attacked the North and South Bunkers in Dun Baldar a few times but we took those back too. We capped all 4 towers and had FWGY along with the Relief Hut. With all the towers down, FWGY in our control so the Horde couldn't keep rezzing and trying to wipe us when we did Drek, we went in and took Drek down. That was a good battle.

In the second battle there was someone saying not to go any farther than IBT. To cap IBT then hold everything north of that. They swore that works. I didn't think it would work but decided to see what happened. We were ahead about 100 resources after IBT capped and should have moved forward but that person was saying to just hang onto everything. The Horde eventually whittled down the lead with kills until we were only about 40 ahead. They were slowly working their way north too. The person that was saying to not go forward and just hold everything north of IBT never left DB. Finally I spoke up and said we were going to lose unless we moved forward and got at least one more tower. He said he had come into battles where they Horde were ahead by 200 reinforcements and we won. I said I believed it because that is just what the Horde were doing, slowly closing the gap on reinforcements for the win.

By the time people stopped listening to him and started moving forward it was too late, the Horde capped SHB, which took us down to about 45 reinforcements left to their 130, then they got into DB and started those towers capping. We lost when the North Bunker capped. Now I know for sure that strat doesn't work, at least not in a PUG.

We won the next one capping 3 of the 4 towers and taking Drek down but lost the last one when the Horde took Vann with 3 towers up. We were looking pretty good in the last one too until they did that. We had 2 towers capped and were waiting for the last 2 along with the RH to cap. We didn't have enough people in Frostwolf Keep to take Drek anyway even if we knew they were going to kill Vann with 3 towers up. So we won 50% of the battles I was in and that is a vast improvement over what the Alliance was doing in there lately. I am encouraged that things will get back to normal after the new year. One thing I did notice was there were no people in Gnome costumes in there and I think that made a big difference.

Eye of the Storm - Daily Battleground 12/29/09

Today my daily battleground was Eye of the Storm. I fought it on Wranngar and it took 4 battles to get a win.

The first 2 battles I was in the Alliance team was made up of Flagtards. Over half the group went right from the rock to the flag. I knew we were going to lose those 2 in the first minute of the battle. In the first one we got the flag right at the start but didn't have anywhere to take it as we had no towers. Maybe should have got some towers first... In the second battle it wasn't much better but we only held one tower and people seemed to be content to get the flag and run it to that, even though that is a slow loss.

In the third battle we had a better group and it looked like were were going to win. We were neck and neck until around 1300 then everyone went Flagtard for some reason. I don't know what it was, we had 3 towers on and off throughout the battle but were down to 2 at that point. Instead of getting another tower everyone tried to get the flag and we lost by about 150 points.

In the 4th battle I was leader and I stated right at the beginning that towers win EoS, not the flag. Get 3 towers, hold 3 towers, win. Go Flagtard, lose. For a change people listened. Maybe that is a lot of the problem, no direction. Anyway the plan was to get DR, BET and FRR which we did, then we got MT too. We held a 4 cap throughout the battle and ran the flag a few times. We won that one 1600 to 0. After the first 3 I was thinking I would never get my daily done.

I turned that in, and yes I remembered to turn it in, for 19g86s, 1241 bonus honor and 25 arena points.

Wintergrasp 12/29/09

I only got to fight in one battle for Wintergrasp on Wranngar tonight but it was a win and I got all 4 of the quests done. It has been a little while since I fought in Wintergrasp but things haven't changed much.

We started off the battle with everyone in the keep as usual (when we are in control) but as the battle progressed it became apparent that they were all going to stay in the keep which is a sure fire loss. Finally after I and some other people said something about getting out of the keep, getting some siege equipment, and getting to work on the towers did people start to come out and do something... It is unbelievable that people will just stay in the keep and let the Horde tear it down around them unless someone says something but that seems to be the case.

Eventually we got the southern and southeastern towers down, I don't think we even damaged the southwestern tower at all, and managed to get the closest workshops away from the Horde. That was the turning point, when the Horde couldn't build siege equipment right next to the keep, they had to take the time to drive them from the south and hope we didn't destroy them on the way, which we did. Finally we ran the clock out for the win but the Horde had the west wall down by that time so it was close.

The Battle for Alterac Valley 12/27/09

When I got on today and went to pick up my daily battleground I found that I forgot to hand my daily battleground in yesterday, so I couldn't grab a new one. I did fight in 2 battles for Alterac Valley on Wranngar though, both losses.

The Alliance is still doing really poorly in there, there is even less teamwork than usual and the Horde have been walking all over us. I think this will be the last time I fight in there this year, I will wait until after the new year and the With a Little Helper from My Friends achievement has ended before I go in there again. There are just too many people taking up spots that could be populated with people who actually know what they are doing. Or at least by people that know they are in a battleground and what that means.

In the 2 battles I was in everyone was warned to stay away from Galv, the Horde would be waiting there. Everyone was instructed to just go right to Drek and we would down him with towers up. No one bothered to check to see if we had a tank and heals capable of doing that but it didn't matter. Over half the team went to Galv, which had the majority of the Horde team waiting inside with him, and wiped. That caused a turtle and eventual loss.

In the first battle we took SHGY and drove the Horde back across the Field of Strife, then they drove us back. That went on and on but eventually the Horde managed to cap Stonehearth Bunker and the Dun Baldar North Bunker which lowered our reinforcements too much to overcome.

In the second battle we ended up turtling in Dun Baldar and eventually lost the Aid Station which had us rezzing in the cave. The Horde took their time capping towers and then killed Vann.

The play has been so poor the last couple weeks and I can only hope it is related to the achievement pulling so many unskilled people into this battleground. I think, I am hoping anyway, that this will end after the new year.

Alterac Valley - Daily Battleground 12/26/09

Today my daily battle was Alterac Valley which happens to be my favorite battleground. I did it on Wranngar and it took 7 battles to get a win which isn't too good. I did get a lot of kills though from the turtles.

The Alliance still isn't doing too well in there. I took a few days off from the battlegrounds because I was disgusted with all the people in there trying to do the stupid Gnome achievement, With a Little Helper from My Friends. For a lot of them it is the first time they have every been in a battleground and it really shows. They are only in there to get their 50 HK's for the achievement and don't care about winning. As a matter of fact they are happier when we turtle because they can just stand back and let other people farm their kills for them. They don't want to enter combat because if they die they lose their costume and don't get the kills towards the achievement. On the plus side they usually leave right after they die. It will be like this until after the new year when the achievement ends.

We had quite a few battles that started off way off balance, with the horde outnumbering us by 2 to 1 or more. By the time that balances out the battle has already been decided. The Horde are rushing Vann now, they are not waiting for towers to cap, because it is a pretty sure win for them. The Alliance can't work together as a team so they can't do that. The Horde aren't Blitzing every time like they were, they are taking their time so all of them can get there, but it doesn't matter when the Alliance is scattered everywhere doing their own thing.

I collected 19g86s, 1241 bonus honor and 25 arena points for completing my daily.

I am hoping it will go back to normal after the new year.

Strand of the Ancients - Daily Battleground 12/21/09

Strand of Ancients was my daily battleground today. I fought in 4 battles on Wranngar 3 losses and a draw which might as well be a loss when you are trying to do your daily. We just had some really bad groups. It wasn't a matter of the Horde dominating in there, they were not that good either, the groups I was in just sucked. I logged off Wranngar with the intention of logging back on later to complete it when I would be in a different group of people but never got back to it.

There was no teamwork, people were all over the place doing their own thing. I think they were farming kills or something. There was one guy that just rode back and forth on his chopper, he didn't get off it until I told everyone to report him AFK. I would say less than half the team knew what they were doing and were actually trying. It is too bad, this is a battleground we usually do well in, it usually takes me no more than 2 battles to complete my daily.

Alterac Valley - 12/21/09

I only got to fight in on Alterac Valley battle on Wranngar tonight, it was a loss.

There are still a lot of people in there doing the With a Little Helper from My Friends achievement and I will be cutting back on fighting in there until after the Holidays and they all clear out. Things should be back to normal after that with the Alliance winning most the time.

We had a typical battle, about half the team went straight to Frostwolf Keep and started FWGY, the East and West Towers capping along with the Relief Hut. The people that killed Drek started IBT and TP capping as well as IBGY. There were 5 or 6 Horde waiting in Galv to try and wipe us but it didn't work. I usually don't bother going right to Drek unless someone posts a game plan. If no one does that then there is no reason as everyone will be doing their own thing, not that posting a game plan really affects that. Of course the AFK we AFKing in the cave as usual, we reported them and had them kicked as usual.

After Galv I headed down to Frostwolf and we were doing pretty good, had the Relief Hut capped, the Towers were capping then someone capped SHGY... The Horde poured into FWK from their cave and wiped us out. This happens altogether too often, I guess people are never going to learn or think before they cap that graveyard. Before capping that you have to look at the map, everyone has access to the map, and see what we have capped, capping, and where the Horde are going to rez. If they are going to rez in the cave and we don't have at least east and west towers capped, don't do it. It's not rocket science but so many people can't seem to get it right.

After the capping of SHGY the Horde took FWK and moved on to take IBT and TP which caused a turtle. We naturally lost that as the Horde have the advantage in most turtles, unless we have a good group which we did not, because of the choke point at IWB. Instead of a win it turned into a half hour loss. I would like to think whoever capped SHGY learned something but I know they didn't and will do it again in the future.

The Battle for Alterac Valley 12/20/09

The battle for Alterac Valley rages on and I was right in there fighting for the Stormpike Guard. I fought in 25 battles on Wranngar today, 10 wins and 15 losses. Yeah, the Alliance is still not doing well in Alterac Valley. I blame this on the achievement everyone is trying to do. They come in, they don't want to do anything, least of all fight, they just want to get their 50 HK's and get out. And they do, you see the announcement they got the achievement then you see them leave the battleground... The number of people playing is in constant flux, people leaving and new people coming in throughout the battle.

I got my 100000 Honorable Kills on Wranngar, and my "of the Alliance" title, today so I think I will cut back on this battleground until after the Christmas Holiday and let all those people get their achievement done and get out of my battleground lol.

We didn't have any Blitz's today while the Horde had several. I see a lot of Horde dressed in the Gnome costumes for the achievement but they are fighting. We had the usual problems, people not working together, people taking the wrong graveyards at the wrong time, people not guarding things, the list goes on and on.

We did have some really good battles however. There were a few where the Horde decided to all pile into Galv and try to wipe us out, this caused a turtle. That turned out not to be a good idea for them most times as we had about half the team at FWK capping towers while they were doing that. In a few of the battles we managed to hang onto the east and west towers until they capped. The people that got wiped out at Galv took SHGY and we kept the Horde from capping any of our towers. We didn't get any more towers but we were able to win on reinforcements just by killing Horde.
